John and Sharon – We saw a beaver and two martins. One was making a duck very unhappy. After listening to this duck in distress for a while, we paddled over to find the tall grasses wiggling, big-time! The brazen marten came noisily out of the underbrush and stared at us! When me moved away, back he went. We think that marten had invaded the duck’s nest!
