Chances are you’ve heard of Ralph Cianciarulo. Ralph bowhunts for a living in places you’ve only dreamed of going. Dark, wild places like Africa and Russia, places that grab a hold of you when you’re not looking and then don’t let go for another forty years. His house is a taxidermist’s paradise; lions, deer, bears, cape buffalos, elk, caribou, moose, zebra and countless other trophies line the walls.

Ralph is more interested in promoting the sport of bowhunting than just seeing his name up in lights. He believes that if we promote the sport, all will prosper, instead of just a few.

Vicki Cianciarulo edits hunting videos at ACVP, Inc. and is an experienced bowhunter. She is an enthusiastic photographer of the outdoors and nature, as she has always loved the outdoors. When she started bowhunting, she took her love for the outdoors a step further. Instead of just hiking and camping, she started spending many hours a day in tree-stands and in the field observing more nature than she ever thought possible.

When Vicki is not in the field, she is editing bowhunting and product videos in the ACVP studio, along with her husband/hunting partner, Ralph. She also a part of the HNI Prostaff.

Kashabowie Outposts – Moose Camp

YEAH!! Vicki finally did it!! She got her moose! Ralph decided to dedicate this moose hunt to getting Vicki a moose and it finally happened!

The weather this bow season up at Kashabowie Outposts was anything but good. We had high winds, rain and even snow! The conditions made it very hard for calling in the moose, but one evening the wind settled down and it happened.

Ralph & Vicki were set up by a Renzo cow moose decoy, Fern and Martha were set up by another one, Fern was doing the calling and we were about 70 yards apart. We heard a moose walking in, but he wasn’t grunting, and he went right to where Martha and Fern were set up, but he didn’t like something there and he went away. Then, about 15 minutes later, R&V heard a grunt, and it wasn’t coming from Fern’s direction, we watched and listened as the bull came closer. He came out of the willows at about 20 yards and took a couple of steps to give Vicki a broadside shot. Vicki’s arrow hit the spot and the bull only went 20 yards and dropped!!! Her arrow went right through the bull!

As you can imagine, she got very excited, okay – extremely excited!! Wait until you see this one on the show!!

Vicki’s set up was a Hoyt RazorTec set at 57 pounds and her arrow was tipped with the NAP Razorbak 100 grain. Her arrow broke rib on entrance and nicked one on exit. Now that is what we call equipment performance!
