" Dad and Kip Kip and I arrive on July 20th with Don Blair on the OCC. Weather has been Great – 28 C today and in fact too hot for doing all the work we had committed to. Hopefully, Fern, next time we will get it done. We did manage to do all a lot of boating and fishing! We got up to the second rapids up the Seine River, which has been our best fishing spot. Today we got into Purgatory Pass Via Firefly Point & found it to be a dead end with very low water levels. We then headed towards Arrowhead Bay and caught one walleye at each set of rapids. Saw a deer yesterday on the way up the Seine River & also spotted a bald eagle. There were 2 Bull Moose at the far end of Harlow Bay at about 8:45PM. To bad we must go tomorrow, but Fern, thanks for a great vacation! Dad and Kip."
